What will home health care cost?

Medicare, and most private insurance, will pay 100% of the services we provide.  There is no cost to you unless your insurance requires deductibles or co-pays.  Medicare will also pay 80% of the cost of medical equipment, such as wheelchair or walker if ordered by a doctor.

If your insurance does not cover any service you request we can also accept direct payment via credit card.

Some examples of what Medicare does NOT pay for:

  • 24 hour a day care at your residence
  • Meals delivered to your residence
  • Homemaker services like shopping, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Personal care given by an aide like bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom EXCEPT when you are also receiving skilled medical services from a home health agency like LifeSpring.
