Home Health Vs. Home Care

Home health care includes a wide range of medical care services that were once only available in a hospital or doctor’s office. These services can now be performed at your residence by highly skilled medical professionals. Home Health care is usually less expensive, more convenient, and just as effective as care you get in a hospital or skilled nursing facility. Medicare, and most private insurance, will pay 100% of the services LifeSpring provides.

Home Care (often called Personal Care or Personal Assistance) is not paid for by Medicare, or most insurances, and does not require licensed individuals with college degrees.  Home Care is appropriate when you need a caregiver to stay with the patient around the clock, or only need personal services like shopping and household chores.

While LifeSpring can provide you with some Home Care services, a Home Care agency usually cannot provide you with any of our skilled medical care services.

All our services are provided in your place of residence, whether that be your home or apartment, an assisted living facility or independent living facility.
